Wonderful vintage framed serigraph titled "Oodees" by internationally known artist Gerda Christoffersen. This charming artwork depicts one of the "Little People" figures associated with Indigenous folklore traditions of the Americas. Rendered in Christoffersen's distinctive stylized manner, the figure wears traditional clothing and balances a decorated vessel atop its head against a Southwestern-inspired landscape backdrop. Born in Denmark, Gerda Christoffersen spent much of her life in Canada and the United States studying Native American cultures and artwork. Her work became widely collected for its colorful interpretations of Indigenous themes and storytelling traditions. The serigraph is signed by the artist and remains housed in its original frame under glass. The reverse contains additional information about the artist and the artwork.

A lovely addition to collections of Southwestern art, Native American-inspired artwork, folk art, vintage serigraphs, and mid-century wall decor.
