Wonderful vintage new-old-stock pair of flocked bird Christmas ornaments still sealed in their original retail packaging. Manufactured in Hong Kong for S.S. Kresge Company (the predecessor to Kmart), these charming birds embody the whimsical elegance of mid-century and early vintage Christmas decorating. Each bird features a soft white flocked body accented with sparkling multi-colored glitter wings and long synthetic feather tails tipped with gold glitter. The birds are fitted with attached clip bases, allowing them to perch beautifully on Christmas tree branches, wreaths, garlands, centerpieces, mantels, or holiday arrangements.

The original packaging advertises use "For the Tree • The Door • The Mantel and Home Craft," making this a wonderful display piece for collectors of vintage Christmas ornaments and nostalgic retail packaging.

Condition:
Very good vintage condition. Original package remains sealed. One bird shows minor color loss to the beak and there is very minor glitter loss consistent with age and storage. Packaging shows expected vintage shelf wear.
