A charming and wonderfully sentimental piece of early 20th-century ephemera! This antique framed print features the poem "Once When We Bought Valentines" by celebrated American poet Margaret Widdemer, originally published in the February 1916 issue of Good Housekeeping Magazine. The print is beautifully illustrated with children exchanging valentines and incorporates delicate hearts and decorative motifs throughout the design. Displayed in an attractive vintage Art Deco-style frame under glass, it captures the nostalgic innocence and romantic sentimentality that made Valentine's Day ephemera so beloved during the early 1900s.

Frame: 9.75" tall
7.75" wide

Condition:
Good antique condition. The reverse includes a clipping identifying the piece as originating from the February 1916 edition of Good Housekeeping Magazine. Some fading glue residue is visible in the corners of the print. The discoloration blends into the paper and is not overly distracting but has been reflected in the pricing. Frame and glass display nicely.
