Charming 1930s vintage framed silhouette portrait featuring a colonial-era gentleman rendered in classic black profile against softly aged cream paper. This piece has wonderful primitive Americana character with visible age patina that adds warmth and authenticity to the artwork. It measures 6.75 X 6.75. In antique condition with visible age-related wear including spotting, discoloration, residue/water marking, frame wear, and patina consistent with age. These imperfections contribute to the primitive antique aesthetic. Note: the glass appears to be loose, but is actually held in well with the backside nails and holders. It has a hanger on affixed on the backside.

All inventory is pre-owned vintage, antique or artisan pieces. These pieces may be unique and hold marks of their previous lives. For instance, we sell many brass or silver pieces and they may show some tarnishing or patina. We do not polish the pieces as we personally love the aging, as many do! We leave it up to the new owner and their preferences for aiming to remove or not. Our goal is to provide accurate descriptions for every listing, with detailed photographs and notations of imperfections. Please review descriptions and photographs before purchasing.
