Beautiful 4.75" tall vintage Salmon Falls Stoneware pottery pitcher featuring a hand-applied cobalt blue blueberry basket design on classic salt-glazed stoneware. This handcrafted piece was made in 1995 by Salmon Falls Stoneware, the celebrated New England pottery cooperative founded in the early 1970s by artists in Maine/New Hampshire known for their traditional American salt-glaze pottery techniques and hand-decorated designs. Their work became especially beloved for its rustic folk-art aesthetic, durable craftsmanship, and rich cobalt decoration. The salt-glazing process creates the signature subtly textured “orange peel” surface associated with traditional American and European stoneware pottery.
