Exquisite antique French baby bonnet dating to the late 19th century. This beautiful Victorian-era infant bonnet features delicate white lace construction with long yellow silk ribbon ties with little yellow silk flowers on the endings, and intricate gathered lace detailing throughout. A wonderful survivor from the Victorian period, this piece would make a lovely addition to a textile collection, antique nursery display, christening collection, photography prop collection, or museum-quality costume archive. The bonnet retains remarkable charm and presence despite its age of well over 100 years.
