Beautiful vintage hand drum crafted from a natural gourd with a stretched hide drum head and decorative cord lacing. The body features hand-etched and painted folk art figures dressed in traditional clothing, creating a striking display piece even when not used as an instrument. These souvenir and artisan drums were commonly produced throughout Peru and other regions of South America during the mid-to-late 20th century. The warm gourd patina, handmade construction, and charming folk-art imagery make this a wonderful addition to a global decor collection, music room, bohemian interior, or folk art display. The drum produces sound when tapped and displays beautifully on a shelf, tabletop, or gallery wall.

We leave it up to the new owner and their preferences for aiming to remove or not.
