Unique vintage pair of hand-carved soapstone candlestick holders featuring African wildlife motifs. The holders depicted alternating animals - a zebra, antelope or gazelle-like figure and elephant. The sculptural twisted form and natural stone coloration give these candle holders a distinctive safari-inspired aesthetic that blends beautifully with eclectic, global, boho, and organic modern interiors. Each piece has been hand carved from solid soapstone, resulting in subtle variations and character throughout. All inventory is pre-owned vintage, antique or artisan pieces. These pieces may be unique and hold marks of their previous lives. For instance, we sell many brass or silver pieces and they may show some tarnishing or patina. We do not polish the pieces as we personally love the aging, as many do! We leave it up to the new owner and their preferences for aiming to remove or not.
