Unique vintage shaggy Highland cow or bull figurine featuring bright rust-orange faux fur, curved horns, a carved wooden muzzle, dark ears, and four small wooden legs. The body of the cow is wooden.

These wonderfully quirky furry cattle figurines are sometimes described as “Viking cows” and fit beautifully with mid-century kitsch, rustic cabin décor, Scandinavian-inspired interiors, and collections of unusual vintage animals.

Its unruly orange coat and expressive wooden face give it plenty of personality and make it a fun accent for a bookshelf, desk, nursery, cabin, or eclectic gallery display.

Condition:

Good vintage condition with age-related wear. The fur is shaggy and tousled, which appears consistent with the original design. There is some light wear to the wooden components. No maker’s label or country-of-origin mark was found.

All inventory is pre-owned vintage, antique or artisan pieces. These pieces may be unique and hold marks of their previous lives. For instance, we sell many brass or silver pieces and they may show some tarnishing or patina. We do not polish the pieces as we personally love the aging, as many do! We leave it up to the new owner and their preferences for aiming to remove or not. Our goal is to provide accurate descriptions for every listing, with detailed photographs and notations of imperfections. Please review descriptions and photographs before purchasing.
