Charming vintage handmade folk-art doll depicting a village or market woman carrying a large fabric sack on her back.

The figure is constructed from burlap-like fabric, woven textiles, yarn, and other natural-looking materials. She wears a red and brown top, dark trousers, a black-and-cream woven apron, and colorful yarn ties around her waist. Her facial features are hand embroidered, and she is permanently mounted on a small wooden base.

The layered fabrics, visible hand stitching, and timeworn details give this piece a wonderful primitive folk-art appearance. It would make an interesting addition to a collection of international dolls, Latin American folk art, textile figures, or globally inspired décor.

Condition:
Vintage condition with noticeable age and display wear.
The fabrics show fraying, loose threads, wear, and small damaged areas, especially on the pale green sack and around the woven apron. The doll remains attached to its wooden base and displays upright.
No maker’s mark, country label, or identifying signature was found. Because the precise origin is unknown, it is described broadly as Latin American or Andean-style folk art rather than attributed to one specific country.
