Vintage BLiC Inertia Crocodile “Funny Action” lithographed tin toy with its original illustrated box.

Made in China by Beijing Toy No. 1 Factory, this colorful mechanical crocodile features classic lithographed tin construction in green, red and yellow with painted scale, eye and tooth details.

The underside contains the inertia/friction mechanism and wheels. The crocodile also features a hinged opening mouth and four attached metal legs.

The original box has wonderfully colorful retro graphics and is marked:

Condition:
Good vintage condition with age-appropriate wear. The lithographed crocodile remains bright and colorful with minor surface wear consistent with age and use. Original cardboard box shows some edge, corner and surface wear. Please review all photos closely as they are part of the condition description. Friction/inertia mechanism is tested and working.

All inventory is pre-owned vintage, antique or artisan pieces. These pieces may be unique and hold marks of their previous lives. For instance, we sell many brass or silver pieces and they may show some tarnishing or patina. We do not polish the pieces as we personally love the aging, as many do! We leave it up to the new owner and their preferences for aiming to remove or not.
