Vintage 1970s Elkes Biscuits Limited rectangular biscuit tin featuring a wonderfully bold photographic floral design framed in bright blue.

Made for Elkes Biscuits of Uttoxeter, Staffordshire, England, the tin has a colorful arrangement of yellow, white, purple and red flowers against a rich blue-green background. The lid is finished with a graphic blue and white decorative border, giving it a great 1970s look.

The original paper label remains on the underside and identifies Elkes Biscuits Limited. It notes that the container design was commissioned exclusively for Elkes and originally contained an assortment of the company's biscuits.

A fun vintage storage piece for a colorful kitchen, pantry, sewing room or craft space. It would also work beautifully for displaying ephemera, photographs, stationery, sewing notions or other small collections.

Condition:
Good vintage condition with age-appropriate wear. Exterior floral graphics remain bright and attractive. There is surface wear, scratching, spotting and oxidation/discoloration to the unprinted metal surfaces and interior consistent with age and prior use. Original Elkes paper label remains attached to the underside. Please review all photos for condition.
