Osborn was a pioneering advertising executive and an influential figure in the development of modern creative-thinking methods. Your Creative Power explores imagination, idea generation, creative problem solving, group creativity, leadership and the techniques that would become closely associated with Osborn's work on brainstorming.

This is an original 1948 Scribner edition with its striking red, black and white dust jacket, rather than a modern reprint.

The book contains 41 chapters covering creative thinking and imagination, including idea generation, association, alternatives, adaptation, modification, substitution, rearrangement, group idea creation, employee relations and leadership.

Condition:
Good vintage condition overall. Hardcover binding remains attractive with dark blue cloth boards and lettering along the spine. Original dust jacket shows age-related wear including edge wear, small tears, creasing and areas of paper loss/chipping. Pages show expected age toning. Previous owner's name, “J.R. Hunneman, Jr.,” is handwritten inside the front cover.

Several vintage newspaper clippings were found stored inside the book and will remain with the book and be included with purchase. Please review all photographs for condition.
