Fantastic vintage 1960s woven raffia handbag featuring colorful hand-embroidered geometric designs and fabulous oversized amber-colored ring handles.

The natural woven body is covered in vibrant embroidery in red, turquoise, navy blue, aqua, yellow and orange. Rows of colorful stitching alternate with dimensional diamond and starburst motifs, giving the bag an incredible graphic mid-century look.

The double round handles are translucent amber/orange with molded ring details and have the look of vintage Lucite. The interior is fully lined in a golden yellow fabric.

This is a particularly striking vintage handbag with a wonderful combination of mid-century, bohemian and folk-art styling. Large enough to be genuinely usable while still making a fantastic statement piece.
