Charming vintage Mexican folk art child's chair featuring a hand-painted turquoise blue wooden frame, colorful floral decoration and a beautifully woven natural fiber seat.

The chair is decorated by hand with red, burgundy, white and yellow flowers and stylized foliage across the ladder back and front legs. The painted surface has wonderful age-related wear and patina that gives the piece an authentic rustic folk-art character.

The seat is tightly woven in a natural rush-style fiber with an attractive geometric pattern. The underside reveals the traditional rustic construction and handwoven character of the piece.

Its small scale makes this wonderful as a collectible Mexican folk-art piece, children's room accent, doll or teddy bear display chair, plant stand, photography prop, or colorful decorative accent.
