Very unique piece of 1970s art! This piece was made in 1975 using over 280 nails to form a flower bouquet. It is 3-D style with the nails extended in various lengths on the board to form flower patterns. The nail heads are painted in a variety of colors- white, mauve, emerald green and navy. The flowers are arranged in a terra-cotta flower pot also attached to the wood board backing.

The backside of the piece reads, "Pol-O-Craft Originator Nail Art by Pauline Owens, 1975." The art originates from Reading, PA and the piece is called, "Nails in Bloom."

It measures 8" long and 5" wide and comes ready to hang. The piece is in good vintage condition, there are some minor scratches here and there to the wood backing, all indicative of its age.
