Terrific collectible book based on the classic movie, "National Velvet." This is a children's storybook with illustrations of the characters from the movie, the horse King, and the girl Velvet played by Elizabeth Taylor.
The book was written by Dorothy Hass with pictures by Al Anderson. It was published in 1962 by Whitman Publishing Company. The book is hardcover, approximately 30 pages and measures 7.5" long and 6.25" wide.
The book is in good vintage condition for its age. It shows some wear on the cover though all pages are bright with no rips (exception is the back inside cover page is torn. The back inside cover does have a strip of tape.
