Terrific 1960s "Open Highways" early readers books, set of four, that were developed for classroom learning.
Marketed as "a diagnostic and developmental reading program" by publishers Scott Foresman & Company.
These books have wonderful 1960s graphics and could also be repurposed for crafting/framing of the illustrations.
Each edition includes short stories and poems.
They are all hardback with approx 125 pages. Love the pastel covers too, they look great on a bookshelf or displayed.
All are in good vintage condition, each book is missing about 1 page each and two books have pen written numbers on the cover.
